§

Home to both Red and Small Fallow deer, Raby Deer Park is an expansive 200-acre woodland which underwent recent expansion and includes conifer and broadleaves amongst the South-West part of Bath Wood and arable fields to the west, as well as a water course with areas of low-lying wet ground and two areas of newly sown, deer specific grassland. Both herds of deer present in this park include the descendants of deer which have been here since Normal Times.

There's something truly magical and surreal about being in the presence of country deer. These majestic creatures appear so ornate and almost otherworldly, and there's an underlying sense of peace when surrounded by them. Watching the two stags rut horns and the line of calves and fawns gallop across the plains were the most incredible and unprecedented scenes. It's these moments that make you truly feel like a fly-on-the-wall against the backdrop of the natural rhythm of nature.
